It has been 25 years since they graduated and went on to life beyond 304 S. Columbia Street. We have reached out to this class to see what they are doing and how their lives have taken shape over these 25 years.

A few brothers responded. We have also created a discussion forum to collect more responses. If you are a brother from the Class of 1990 or know of one, please CLICK HERE, log in and leave your comments and photos. We look forward to hearing from you.

John Pope

John lives in Atlanta and is married with two daughters (10th and 8th grades). He thinks of the Phi Delt house and the good times that were had often.

Gibson “Gib” Smith III

Gib lives in Pelham, N.J. with his most prized assets: his wife and three kids.

Of my first foray through UNC-CH, I would say I spent just a little bit too much time at 304 S. Columbia Street and probably not enough time on campus. Of course, the Phi brothers made those days pretty special. Glad we did it all and somehow survived; fortunate to still count many of my pledge class mates as good friends.

I continue to work in markets at Citi where I have been the last 11 years. I am building a new advisory business for investors interested in private, growth equity companies. My wife's name is Patricia (Crowley) Smith. She is also a 90 grad from UNC (ADPi). Our kids are Sally (19), Gibson (16) and Henry (11). Sally is a sophomore at Furman, Gibson is a junior at Pelham Memorial High School and Henry is a sixth grader at Pelham Middle School.

Left: Gib and Patricia Smith. Right: Their three kids.
