On Friday, April 22, Phi Delta Theta partnered with Kappa Delta at UNC-Chapel Hill to host the 6th annual Cookout to Knockout ALS. The event raised money to support the ongoing fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease because Lou Gehrig himself was a member of Phi Delta Theta. The proceeds of the cookout will benefit the NC chapter of the ALS Association and the Joe Martin ALS Foundation, both of which provide diligent care and remain committed to finding a cure. Despite some slight rain this year, we had a great turnout from the student body, and many families were able to make it to the event. The silent auction was bigger than it has ever been, and this year we raised over $4000! We would like to thank everyone for showing their support, and we hope you all will be able to make it to the cookout next year. Go Heels!
